You can check out the orally fixated video for “Dooo It!” embedded in the post. There are some familiar names who stop by, however, including Big Sean on “Tangerine” and Ariel Pink on “Tiger Dreams.” Some of the other standout tracks upon first listens include “Karen Don't Be Sad,” “BB Talk,” “1 Sun” and the strangely moving “Pablow the Blowfish.” As she told the Times, “This music was not meant to be a rebellion,” she said. The release is an exercise in Cyrus' artistic freedom and isn't part of her contract with RCA Records. In an interview with the New York Times, Cyrus credits Flames frontman Wayne Coyne as being her artistic mentor on the album. At this point, it seems as though Cyrus is releasing the album for free.Īn introspective work inspired by the passing of her favorite dog, 10 of the album's tracks were either co-written or produced by The Flaming Lips. It's currently not available for purchase, but can be streamed on soundcloud and her official website. Cyrus actually released an entire album entitled “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” which contains 23 new songs.
